Most of our regular guests have travelled to Tahiti, Hawaii, Fiji and Bali, but they always return to Lord Howe Island – it’s close, relaxed, secluded and hassle free. Don’t worry about crowds, though, because our World Heritage listing caps the number of island-wide guests to 400 at any one time, and they scatter through two cafes, eight volcanic peaks, 10 square kilometres of lagoon, 18 surf spots, 20 beaches, 24 kilometres of coastline, and 45 kilometres of hiking track. In reality, you’ll feel like you have the place to yourself.

Accommodation at Pinetrees includes elegant en-suite rooms and suites, luxury Garden Cottages and our stunning three-bedroom Chef’s Cottage and four-bedroom Banyan Cottage. All of our rooms are serviced daily. Our accommodation is single story and has easy access to the restaurant, lounge, bar, verandah, day spa, tennis court, gardens and waterfront deck. Food & wine

We are serious about food and wine. It’s the feature of a Pinetrees holiday. The quality of our food is exceptional and we serve full breakfasts, lunches (including picnics and BBQs), afternoon teas and four course dinners every day. Our chefs have worked in some of Australia’s best restaurants and can prepare meals for all dietary requirements. All you need to do is eat, drink and enjoy – we’ll do the shopping, cooking and cleaning.
