Pinetrees has hosted families for over 100 years, and many people who came as children now bring their own children and grandchildren. We’ve heard many of our guests reminisce about their children learning to walk or ride a bike on the Pinetrees lawn.
Families return to Pinetrees every year because it’s safe for kids to enjoy a level of freedom above and beyond other holiday destinations. We have no snakes, poisonous spiders, box jelly-fish or crocodiles. We also have no crime. Imagine! Your kids will soon meet up with other kids, forget about social media, and rediscover the fun and adventure of swimming, snorkelling, bike riding, beach-combing and exploring. A great feature of a Pinetrees family holiday is the limited travel time – remember that ten hour flight to Hawaii and two days of jetlag? Lord Howe Island is less than a two hour flight from Sydney, and the commute from the airport to the lodge is about five minutes. Fly over on the early morning flight and you’ll have time for a snorkel in the lagoon before lunch.
