We have the best location on Lord Howe Island. Our boatshed deck is on the waterfront, and the main lodge, rooms, cottages and gardens are about 70 metres behind Lagoon Beach in the shade and shelter of 100 year old Norfolk Island pines.
Pinetrees is less than 10 minutes by bike, along flat level roads, to Old Settlement Beach, the jetty, Neds Beach, the ‘CBD’, the boatsheds, Joys Shop, Blinky Beach, the airport, Cobbys Corner and Lovers Bay. You’ll find WiFi 5 minutes away at the Musuem. You can reach those places on foot within 10-40 minutes, depending on your speed.
It’s important to remember that there’s no public transport on Lord Howe, and plenty of hills, so it’s wise to stay in a central location with easy bike and foot access to the best attractions and activities – like Pinetrees.
