Pinetrees was named TripAdvisor’s Number 1 Hotel in Australia in 2017 and 2018, ahead of 4520 hotels across the country, and TripAdvisor’s Number 2 Hotel in the South Pacific in 2019, ahead of all hotels in Fiji, Tahiti, New Zealand and Australia (except one). We’ve looked at those amazing resorts and hotels in Tahiti and Fiji, and we’ve stayed at some of the luxury lodges of New Zealand (but we didn’t borrow any ideas – promise), so it’s hard to imagine that – somehow – we’ve come out of the TripAdvisor ranking system above them. Unlike us, those places have lagoon pools, pillow menus, WiFi, locks on the doors, and even TVs with in-room movies. We’re really proud of this achievement because it puts us at the very top of the hotel industry in Australia for three consecutive years. Clearly, we’d struggle without our amazing staff, World Heritage location, and lovely guests who get what a Lord Howe Island holiday is all about. Thanks for the excellent reviews!
