Our Early Bird Package is the perfect way to enjoy the full Pinetrees experience in autumn or spring 2026. May, September and October are ideal months to visit Lord Howe Island, with mild weather that’s perfect for walking, kayaking, birdwatching, golfing and more. Our Early Bird Package is valid over the spring school holidays, making it a great time for families to enjoy the serenity and stunning scenery while still avoiding the peak summer rush.
Don’t worry about crowds, as a World Heritage-listed site Lord Howe Island caps visitor numbers to just 400 at any one time. With two cafés, eight volcanic peaks, 10 square kilometres of lagoon, 18 surf spots, 20 beaches, 24 kilometres of coastline, and 45 kilometres of hiking trails to explore, you’ll often feel like you have the whole island to yourself.

So, in principle, you can stay 7 nights with us and not touch your wallet – a genuine all expenses included holiday. In practice, you’ll still buy a barista made coffee at breakfast, have a drink watching the sunset at the boatshed and enjoy a cocktail or bottle of wine with dinner – but there’ll be no surprise ‘five star’ bill when you check out.
7 night Early Bird Package rates start from $3,813 per person twin share in a Palm Room in May, $4,569 per person twin share in a Transit Hill Room in May, $4,986 per person twin share in an Under the Pines Room in May, $5,538 per person twin share in a Sallywood Suite in May, and $5,095 per person twin share in a Garden Cottage in May. You can also book our luxury 3-bedroom Chef’s Cottage and 4-bedroom Banyan Cottage – these are perfect for families and small groups.
Early Bird package rates exclude airfares to Lord Howe Island. There are daily flights to/from Lord Howe Island and Sydney with SmartLynx/Qantas.
