Feature articles in Australian Geographic Magazine are the most highly sought after reviews in adventure travel, and after a long eight year wait, we’ve just got one. The latest issue has a fantastic article on Lord Howe Island as a walking and adventure destination, written by the Editor, John Pickrell. John stayed with us at home for a few nights (Pinetrees was full) and had first hand experience of a serious Lord Howe day with blisters, sun burn, dehydration, and kids’ bed time stories. John will return in October 2016 with the Australian Geographic Expedition to Lord Howe with scientists from the Australian Museum and 20 ‘citizen scientists’. You should come!
